How long does a staircase remodel take?
A typical carpet-to-hardwood conversion runs three to five working days. Custom builds and curved staircases run two to four weeks including shop time.
Can we use the stairs during the project?
Usually yes. Crews stage work so at least one safe path stays open, and treads are protected overnight.
Do you match our existing floors?
Yes. Stain matching against your current flooring sample is standard on every remodel and refinishing job.
Is the work permitted and to code?
Structural changes, new staircases and guardrail work are built to current IRC rise, run and guard requirements, with local permits pulled when the jurisdiction requires them.
How do we get a price?
